Overview
JOMIS is a bakeshop management information system, or a bakery operations system, for Bread By Patty Corp. It covers production, sales, cash, purchasing and reporting, and it lets the company look at its branches one at a time or grouped by province.
History
The system started as PBMIS, the Patty’s Bakeshop Management Information System. It was later renamed JOMIS.
JOMIS v1 (legacy)
The screenshots show JOMIS v1, the legacy version. It is built with PHP 7.4, CodeIgniter 2.2.6, MariaDB 10.11, jQuery and Bootstrap. The numbers, branch names and user accounts in the screenshots are dummy data, not the company’s real figures.
JOMIS v2 (in progress)
JOMIS v2 is a work in progress, built with PHP 8.5, Laravel 13.34, PostgreSQL, Inertia v3, Tailwind CSS and shadcn/ui. The plan is to migrate the company from v1 to v2.
What it covers
- Production: a daily schedule, scaling against a recipe version, and baking.
- Sales: point of sale, product sales, other sales, pullout checking and a sales budget.
- Cash: cash counts, receipts, deposits, disbursements, charges, discounts and returns.
- Reports: an accountability report and a product sales report, per shift, daily, monthly or by province.
- Also: purchasing, reconciliation, warehousing, human resources, security and configuration.
