Overview
Firewatch Health is a personal health platform for firefighters. It brings six kinds of health data into one place: medical records, exposure logs, wearable data, genetic testing, family history and mental health. An AI layer looks for patterns across all of it and points doctors to where to look, rather than replacing them. Mental health data stays private and is never shared with the department or employer.
The screenshots show the department and admin sides. A department invites its personnel, tracks who has signed up, and manages the healthcare providers it refers members to. Firewatch staff review medical record documents and HIPAA authorizations. All the data in them is dummy data.
The web app is built with React and TypeScript on Laravel APIs and PostgreSQL. The work covers reusable workflows, integrations, and debugging across the frontend and backend.
