Overview
Aegir is a personal project: a maritime safety and fleet operations app for tracking vessels, safety inspections, work orders and shift handovers. It is built with Next.js, TypeScript and Tailwind CSS on Supabase (Postgres with row-level security), with every change recorded in an audit log. It runs on synthetic demo data and is not a certified safety system.
What I built
- A vessel watch list that puts critical, blocked and overdue work first.
- Safety inspections with checklists, where a failed check can raise a work order.
- Work orders you can start, block with a reason, resume and complete.
- Shift handovers that the person receiving them has to acknowledge.
- An audit log written by the database, with row-level security on every table.
